The GESIS Data Archive for the Social Sciences is looking for a senior researcher/post-doc for their offices in Cologne, Germany, starting as soon as possible.
The position is part of the project “DominoES – Domino effects in the Earth system – Can Antarctica tip climate policy?” in strong collaboration with the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). Together with the Principal Investigators from PIK and GESIS, the postdoctoral scientist will be responsible for identifying theoretical and empirical evidence for the existence of spill-over effects (or tipping-like phenomena) of climate-change to social systems with potentially large-scale consequences on social and political orders.
