Center on Budget and Policy Priorities State Policy Fellowship Program

Deadline

Sunday, January 29, 2017

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP) is a nonpartisan research and policy institute. They pursue federal and state policies designed both to reduce poverty and inequality and to restore fiscal responsibility in equitable and effective ways. They apply their deep expertise in budget and tax issues and in programs and policies that help low-income people, in order to help inform debates and achieve better policy outcomes.

State Policy Fellows tackle domestic policy challenges in areas like health care, taxes, anti-poverty policy, education, and criminal justice. Working in independent, highly respected policy organizations located across the country, Fellows analyze the impact of state budget and tax policy choices on low-income residents and promote positive reforms.

Applications are due January 29th. For more information, visit the CBPP’s website.
