American Enterprise Institute

Interns will work closely with Senior Fellow Brent Orrell and Workforce Development staff to conduct research on the skills needed for success in the modern and ever-evolving economy and effective strategies to develop those skills in the American workforce. Intern research will span the workforce development sector to include forays into the future of work, how COVID has affected worker attitudes and experiences, and workforce issues relating to special populations, including veterans, youth, the elderly, persons with disabilities, and persons reentering society from prison. Interns may also engage with certain criminal-justice topics as they pertain to broader team initiatives.
