New America Political Reform Intern

Deadline

Monday, May 15, 2017

New America’s Political Reform program is seeking applicants who have a strong interest in American politics, defense policy, and political reform for a Summer/Fall 2017 full-time internship in their Washington, D.C. office. The intern will assist program staff members with research, data entry, and miscellaneous administrative duties.

The Political Reform Program works towards an open, fair democratic process, with equitable opportunities for full participation, in order to restore dynamism and growth to the American economy and society.

The intern will conduct research in these areas, as well as support the New Models of Policy Change project’s research and convening across the left-right divide on defense policy reform. They can attend in-house events, professional development, and off-the-record policy lunches with fellows and staff from other New America policy programs.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but New America plans to interview applicants in May and June, making final selections before the end of June. For more information, visit the New America website.
