India Home Summer Research Internship

India Home, Inc. is a senior center nonprofit based in Queens. They provide culturally appropriate senior center programs, recreational activities and advocacy programs for South Asian older adults across the borough. They are hiring five full-time summer research interns, who will help India Home gather data for the first ever Needs Assessment of South Asian seniors in New York City. 

Each intern will have a different language fluency. The languages they are looking for are Bengali, Gujarati, Nepali, Pashto, and Punjabi. Those who speak Hindi and Urdu in addition to the aforementioned languages will be given extra consideration.

The position will start on July 5th, 2017. It will be full time (40 hours/week) for eight weeks until August 25th, 2017. Each intern will receive a summer stipend of $1,500 for the full eight weeks of work.
